With the New Year just around the corner, I find myself being drawn to all things glitzy, glittery, and celebratory. This colorful clutch is my latest sparkly find. I love how it’s made completely of cool-colored sequins – a palette so similar to Kathy’s beautiful Awkenings Holiday patterns. It’s glitter perfection, but at $550.00, it may be best to admire its beauty from afar…

With the sounds of jolly Christmas music in my ears, a steaming mug of cocoa to my right and a slew of cheery greeting cards from friends and co-workers to my left, I can’t help but feel the spirit of the holidays all around. This naturally leads me to dreaming up a magical and cozy concept for a warm winter wedding. I love the natural textures, the smells, the flavors and the warm glow that the holiday season brings about. Enjoy my winter wedding mood board :-). I’d like to wish you all a wonderful holiday with family and friends and a happy and safe New Year!

Merry Christmas!

As someone who tries to be forward thinking when it comes to fashion, I’m often trying new color combos and mixing them into my wardrobe. Yet, when it comes to Christmas, I’m a pretty traditional red and green kind of gal. That’s probably why Kathy’s graphic Christmas collection really speaks to me: it’s that perfect balance of the traditional and the unexpected. The classic reds and greens speak to the conventionalist in me, and the fun minty hues and peppy patterns inspire my creative spirit.

I would love to hear what fun color combinations each of you are trying this holiday season. Until next time, please enjoy this little “Christmas Treats” palette inspired by Kathy’s patterns, and have the sweetest, merriest of holidays.

Tip: In the end, most disagreements are silly or unnecessary but it is inevitable they will take place.

Even when its difficult, try to be caring, understanding and patient. Lastly, if you don’t do it well already, you will quickly learn the importance of compromise.
